After many visits I am totally discussed that GM and management condone the fact that security actively promotes prostitution in this hotel. I tried to address this issue directly with the General Manager who has stated quite clearly to me that he has no problem with that and that it is not worth a complained. It tells everything about how the hotel is run I guess. So travellers be aware. We arrived late and neeeded internet access only to be told it was not available in the room, but could provide uswith a cable if needed.
Got to roomwhich was not terrible the balocony was nice. The bathroom was dirty marks onthe door and all around the shower and the shower curtin itself looked very bad. The towels had a odd shade ofgrey about them and we only had a small amount of toilet paper.
We ordered room service 2 fresh juice and a burger. The juices were warm and tasted very sour and seperated quickly. The burger was sloppy inside and the bun burnt with a side of alomst warm fries. We also asked for a double bed but had twin beds. One night was enough for us. We are a family travelling across the world on a budget - but were looking for a little comfort after some harder travelling from Flores.
Rooms are very reasonably priced for what you get and the whole vibe of the hotel is fantastic. Large well kept gardens, two huge kid friendly pools, really clean rooms, good bathrooms, hot water, air conditioning.
The hotel staff have a great customer service approach and were helpful with arranging multiple rooms for the 5 of us. Seems to be aimed at local conferences and business which makes it less touristy which is nice. This hotel has two choices: new building with new concept of city hotel, small room but every room have balcony with very interesting view at nigt time.
